US spot bitcoin ETFs ended Wednesday, Nov. 4, with net inflows of $35.11M, according to SoSoValue. It is the first inflow after three straight outflow days: funds lost $643.33M on Oct. 30, $398.62M on Nov. 2 and $115.56M on Nov. 3, about $1.16B in total.
Details
Two funds accounted for the entire inflow: ARK 21Shares' ARKB took in $19.90M and Bitwise's BITB added $15.21M. SoSoValue's table shows no flows for BlackRock's IBIT or Fidelity's FBTC on the day, and the other funds posted zero. Trading volume across bitcoin ETFs was about $3.59B, well above Nov. 2 (about $1.99B) but below Oct. 30 ($6.35B).
Total net assets stood at $99.82B and cumulative net inflows since launch at about $56.52B. The funds hold roughly 1.274M BTC, per SoSoValue. The per-fund table and flow history are on the ETF flows page.
Spot ether ETFs lost $85.35M on Nov. 3, the latest day in our data: $74.44M came from ETHA and another $10.91M from ETH. Nov. 4 ether figures had not been published at the time of writing.
What it means for the market
The inflow is small and does not offset the earlier outflows, but it breaks the streak. It came alongside a price rebound; we covered bitcoin's return above $80,000 and the short liquidations separately. As of 8:15 PM ET on Nov. 4, BTC traded near $80,500 on Binance, about 4.7% higher over 24 hours.
Daily figures can be revised: preliminary SoSoValue numbers have been revised before, sometimes by a wide margin. For the live price see the daily brief, and for the coin the Bitcoin page.
