About

LBank has operated since 2015 and is registered in the British Virgin Islands. Its pitch is fast listings of new and meme tokens, so it often lists fresh projects first.

Fees are standard for offshore venues: 0.1% on spot and 0.02%/0.06% on futures. Regulation is light, with MSB registrations but no major licences. Since May 2025 users from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan can only withdraw. Early listings bring high volatility and risk.

Pros

  • Fast listings of new tokens
  • Standard fees

Cons

  • Withdraw-only for Russian users since May 2025
  • No major licences
  • No regular proof of reserves

Verification (KYC)

Verification needed for higher limits and some features.

For users in Russia

Effectively unavailable: since 27 May 2025 LBank has stopped registering users from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan and limited existing accounts to withdrawals, order cancellation and closing positions.

Security

We found no major hacks of the exchange itself. Reviews indicate LBank does not publish regular proof of reserves.

Licenses and registrations

  • MSB registrations in the US and Canada (per reviews)
