CoinW review: fees and sign-up bonus

Sign-up bonus

New users can earn up to 12,000 USDT in the Rewards Hub. The starter pack: a 5 USDT fee-discount coupon for signing up, a 10 USDT futures Super Bonus for basic KYC, a +15% Earn rate coupon for the first deposit and bonuses of up to 20 USDT for first trades. Most of the total sits in 'advanced challenges' tied to futures volume: nine steps from 50 to 5,000 USDT (the first unlocks at 3,000 USDT of volume). Rewards are coupons and futures bonuses rather than cash; some missions must be done within 7 days of sign-up, each mission must be claimed before you complete it, and rewards pass a risk-control review. · checked October 12, 2026

Futures: 0.02% / 0.06% for everyone, with no futures VIP tiers at the moment. Leverage goes up to 200x on BTC and ETH.

About

Founded in 2017, CoinW is futures-focused: about 376 perpetual contracts with up to 200x leverage on BTC and ETH, plus TradFi contracts on stocks and metals. Its API lists around 385 spot pairs against USDT. It also offers copy trading, bots, Earn and P2P.

Fees are 0.1% / 0.1% on spot and 0.02% / 0.06% on futures, with nine spot VIP tiers. New users can earn up to 12,000 USDT, though nearly all of it depends on heavy futures volume. Russia is not on the restricted list and RUB is available in P2P, but there were no ads when we checked.

The main drawback is regulation: the operator is registered in the Comoros, there are no verifiable trading licences, and South Korea, India and the Philippines have put CoinW on lists of unregistered exchanges.

Pros

  • Low fees: 0.1% spot, 0.02% / 0.06% futures
  • Up to 200x leverage and TradFi contracts
  • Public Merkle-tree proof of reserves
  • Russia is not on the restricted list

Cons

  • No verifiable trading licences; operator registered in the Comoros
  • Warnings from regulators in South Korea, India and the Philippines
  • The 12,000 USDT bonus demands huge futures volume
  • RUB P2P was empty when checked

Verification (KYC)

You can sign up without KYC, but several products require at least basic (C2) verification: P2P, fiat and the new-user bonuses. Withdrawals are capped at 10 BTC a day after basic KYC and 100 BTC after advanced; CoinW may demand KYC before approving any withdrawal. One ID document can verify only one account.

For users in Russia

Russia is not on the restricted list in CoinW's Legal Statement (updated 1 June 2026); Crimea, the so-called DPR and LPR are excluded, along with the US, UK, UAE, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, mainland China and others. The User Agreement lets CoinW refuse service to sanctioned persons. P2P supports RUB with Russian bank payment methods (Sberbank, T-Bank, VTB and others), but on 12 October 2026 the public USDT/RUB feed showed no ads. CoinW has made no official statement about leaving Russia. Russia's law on digital currencies (passed by the State Duma on 21 July 2026, in force from 1 September 2026) requires residents to trade crypto only through intermediaries registered with the Bank of Russia from 1 July 2027; banks are to block payments to unregistered platforms.

Security

No major hacks on record. In October 2023 Cyvers flagged $13M of suspicious outflows, then accepted CoinW's explanation that they were routine cold-wallet transfers. CoinW publishes a Merkle-tree proof of reserves (self-published, no external auditor named): USDT coverage was 109.65% on 24 September 2026. It cites a SAFU fund, CoinCover insurance and a HackenProof bug bounty. Regulators in several countries have flagged CoinW as unregistered: South Korea (2022), the Philippines (2025) and India (2025).

Licenses and registrations

  • Hong Kong — TCSP (trust or company service provider) licence, 2024; per CoinW itself, not a crypto trading licence
