Robinhood Adopts Ripple's RLUSD and Treasury Platform
RLUSD went live on Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp, Robinhood is adopting Ripple Treasury, and Ripple Prime perpetuals are due later in 2026.

Ripple and Robinhood announced a partnership on October 27, 2026: the RLUSD stablecoin is now live on Robinhood Chain and on Bitstamp by Robinhood, and Robinhood is adopting Ripple's Treasury platform to run its own cash operations.
Details
According to Ripple's press release, RLUSD went live on Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp on the day of the announcement. It is expected in the Robinhood app later in 2026 and will also be used for institutional settlement on the XRP Ledger. Ripple puts RLUSD's market cap above $2.4 billion.
Robinhood will use Ripple Treasury for global cash and liquidity management, forecasting, payments, risk management and intercompany netting. Ripple Prime, per the same release, provides lending and margin financing across about 20 digital assets and gives clients access to spot trading on Bitstamp; perpetual futures support is slated for later in 2026. Decrypt reports the same details.
Johann Kerbrat, SVP and GM of Robinhood Crypto, said: "That is what a connected, global financial system looks like." Ripple cites 28.6 million funded Robinhood customers worldwide.
What it means for the market
For Ripple it is another tie-up with a large retail platform, following its recent BNY custody deal and the 24/7 Returns launch. How much RLUSD the Robinhood app will actually draw is unknown; the timing is only "later in 2026." For live market prices see the daily brief.
