Ripple Launches 24/7 Returns for Corporate Cash Held in RLUSD

Ripple on October 26, 2026 introduced 24/7 Returns for its Ripple Treasury platform at the Swell conference. Eligible corporate customers will be able to earn returns on operating cash that normally sits idle overnight, on weekends and on holidays. The feature covers qualifying digital assets held in Ripple wallets, including the RLUSD stablecoin.

Details

According to Ripple's press release, Ripple Treasury also gained new orchestration capabilities, bringing treasury management, intelligence and execution together on one platform. The release does not disclose the program terms, the rate, or the fund or instrument that generates the return; access is limited to eligible customers who meet program requirements.

Ripple names American Airlines, Subway, Christian Louboutin, Trax, Adecco and Kingfisher among its customers and partners. It also cites figures that 46% of organizations increased U.S. cash balances over the past year and that 86% of treasury professionals would choose real-time money market funds if their policies allowed it (an AFP survey, as reported by Bitcoin.com).

What it means for the market

The launch continues Ripple's push into the corporate market: RLUSD already has banking and custody integrations, and now a use case for managing idle cash. How much demand it draws will depend on the terms and the size of the return, neither of which has been published yet.
