Janus Henderson Launches Tokenized Nasdaq-100 Fund on Stellar
Janus Henderson and Centrifuge launched JQQQ, a Nasdaq-100 tracking fund on Stellar. Minimum is $100,000, for professional investors outside the US only.

Asset manager Janus Henderson and tokenization platform Centrifuge have launched JQQQ, a fund tracking the Nasdaq-100 index, on the Stellar blockchain. Cointelegraph and ForkLog reported it on Oct. 27. The minimum investment is $100,000.
Details
The fund targets eligible professional investors outside the US. It offers indirect exposure to the index rather than direct stock ownership and is structured as a segregated portfolio of a British Virgin Islands investment company. Nasdaq licenses the index.
According to Cointelegraph, Janus Henderson's institutional onchain strategies exceed $1 billion. Tokenized assets on Stellar are worth about $3.8 billion, while the XLM token is down roughly 16% year to date.
What it means for the market
The launch shows large asset managers continuing to move traditional funds onto blockchains. For the network it is more about credibility and tokenized asset volume than demand for XLM: the entry threshold is high and the investor pool is narrow.
