Details
SoSoValue data put IBIT's inflow at $665 million. The rest of the group was net negative: in our SoSoValue feed Fidelity's FBTC lost about $83.6 million and Grayscale's GBTC about $54.9 million, with no notable moves in the other funds. That $138.6 million of outflows combined with IBIT's inflow gives the $527 million total. Fund-by-fund figures are on the ETF flows page.
Ether ETFs ended the day with $103 million of outflows ($103.3 million in our data), a fourth straight day in the red. BlackRock's ETHA accounted for $95.4 million, and roughly $1.9 million left Grayscale's ETHE.
Earlier sessions were soft for bitcoin funds: $82.4 million of outflows on Oct. 16, only about $5 million of inflows on Oct. 15, and $261 million of outflows on Oct. 14.
What It Means for Markets
The flip back to inflows after a weak stretch suggests some institutional buyers returned to BTC. One session is not a trend, though: ETF flows often swing from day to day, and this inflow rests on a single fund.
