Binance Futures to List Perps on AbbVie, EQT, STMicro and EIDO ETF

Binance Futures will launch four USDT-margined perpetual contracts on traditional assets on Oct. 26: AbbVie (ABBV), EQT Corporation (EQT), STMicroelectronics (STM) and the iShares MSCI Indonesia ETF (EIDO). Trading opens at 5:00 AM ET (09:00 UTC), with the contracts going live five minutes apart, according to the exchange's announcement.

The launch schedule in Eastern Time: EIDOUSDT at 5:00 AM, EQTUSDT at 5:05 AM, STMUSDT at 5:10 AM and ABBVUSDT at 5:15 AM. The underlying assets are the iShares MSCI Indonesia ETF (NYSE Arca), EQT and STMicroelectronics common stock (NYSE), and AbbVie common stock (NYSE).

All four contracts share the same terms, per Binance: USDT settlement and margin, maximum leverage of 20x, a minimum notional value of 5 USDT, and 24/7 trading. The funding rate is capped at ±2%, settles every eight hours, and carries a 0% interest component. The contracts support Multi-Assets Mode. Binance notes that the products may not be available in some regions and that it may adjust trading parameters and margin requirements.

What this means for the market

Round-the-clock perpetuals on stocks and ETFs push crypto exchanges closer to traditional markets: a trader can take a position on an NYSE-listed stock overnight or on weekends, when the underlying market is closed. Other venues are moving the same way. Ripple Prime recently opened perps on 110+ markets to institutions via Hyperliquid.
