Aave Horizon to Price Tokenized Stocks Over Weekends

Chainlink launched Chainlink 24/7 on October 29, 2026, a data service that prices tokenized stocks and other traditional assets through weekends and holidays. Aave is the launch partner: its institutional lending platform, Aave Horizon, will use the feeds to value tokenized U.S. equity collateral.

Chainlink says the service has been live since October 29 and covers U.S. equities, ETFs, commodities and other assets that meet liquidity and pricing standards. Aave founder Stani Kulechov said in the announcement: "With Chainlink 24/7, Aave can reliably value RWA collateral through weekends and holidays, enabling institutions to realize the full potential of always-on lending." Chainlink also cites its own figures: Aave has more than $34 billion in TVL, and its Chainlink 24/5 service already supports $1.6 billion of tokenized stocks.

CryptoSlate explains how prices are set when exchanges are shut: weekday exchange data is combined with perpetual-futures quotes from crypto venues at the weekend, with outliers filtered out. The outlet flags the risk that a drop in perp prices could cut collateral values and trigger liquidations before Monday's open. The first equities to be listed and the liquidation settings have not been disclosed.

CryptoSlate also notes a caveat: debt recovery still depends on what can be realized from the collateral, and a price reference alone supplies neither a buyer nor redemption access.

What this means for the market

Tokenized stocks trade around the clock while their underlying markets do not, which has made weekend lending against them awkward. If the setup holds, DeFi borrowing against such assets could run continuously. The first real test will be a weekend with a sharp move in U.S. equities.
