American Bitcoin posts $126M Q3 profit on digital asset gains
Eric Trump's American Bitcoin swung to a $126M profit in Q3: a $197.3M digital asset gain, a reserve of 8,427 BTC and $63.4M in mining revenue.

American Bitcoin (ABTC), the mining and treasury company linked to Eric Trump, reported third-quarter 2026 results on Nov. 5. According to The Block, net income came to about $126 million, against a $57.2 million loss in the second quarter. Gains on digital assets drove most of the swing.
Details
The company's 10-Q filing with the SEC shows a $197.3 million gain on digital assets for the three months ended Sept. 30, compared with a $5.5 million loss a year earlier. The company attributes it to bitcoin rising from roughly $59,847 to $83,415 over the period, applied to its reserve.
At Sept. 30 the reserve stood at about 8,427 BTC. Revenue for the quarter was $63.4 million versus $64.2 million a year earlier. The Block reports that the cost to produce each coin rose about 15% to roughly $42,100, squeezing gross margin from 49% to 41%; we did not independently verify those two figures in the filing.
What this means for the market
The quarter's profit is largely an accounting effect of marking bitcoin to market, not stronger operations: revenue dipped slightly while costs rose. Earnings of companies holding BTC on their balance sheets now track the asset's price closely, and swing just as sharply the other way when it falls.
