DAR Open Network (D) price

D is the token of DAR Open Network, a project formerly known as Mines of Dalarnia (ticker DAR). It is a token on the Ethereum network, so it does not have a blockchain of its own. Historically the project belongs to the Web3 gaming segment: games, an in-game economy and related infrastructure. The page ID on CoinLab still reflects the old name.

The data available to us includes no project description, website link or code repository. For that reason we do not state the exact role of the token. Gaming tokens are commonly used for in-game payments, rewards, staking or governance, but for D these functions should be checked in the project's documentation and in the product itself. As an Ethereum token, it relies on that network's security: Ethereum validators secure it under Proof-of-Stake, and transfer fees are paid in ETH rather than in D.

The supply is capped. The maximum supply is 800 million tokens and equals the total supply. About 743.5 million, roughly 93%, are in circulation. For a holder this means that dilution from new issuance is limited and few unlocks remain, since most tokens already trade. There is no inflation beyond the cap unless the project replaces the contract.

What to watch: whether the token has real use inside the project's products and whether the player base is growing; which documents and contract address are published officially, because a project that changed its name may have old and new token versions; exchange liquidity and how concentrated holdings are among large addresses. Risks include dependence on a single gaming ecosystem and on player interest, strong competition among gaming projects, and the lack of confirmed information on the team and codebase in our data.
