Bitcoin ETFs Draw Just $5M on Oct. 15 as Ether Funds Lose $60M
Spot bitcoin ETFs barely broke even at +$5M on Oct. 15 while ether funds shed another $60M, reflecting continued weak demand, per SoSoValue data.

Spot bitcoin ETFs eked out a net inflow of just $5.06M on Thursday, October 15, while ether funds shed another $60.22M. The figures were published by SoSoValue after Thursday's market close.
Details
On the BTC side, BlackRock's IBIT was the only standout, attracting $16.79M. That gain was largely offset by outflows from Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (−$7.64M) and Invesco BTCO (−$4.09M). Total net assets across all spot BTC ETFs stand at $105.71B, with daily trading volume of $2.28B.
Ether funds fared worse. BlackRock's ETHA led outflows with −$44.39M, followed by Grayscale ETHE at −$18.28M. Fidelity FETH was the lone bright spot, recording a +$2.44M inflow. Combined ETH ETF net assets now sit at $15.29B.
Over the four trading days from October 12 through 15, spot BTC ETFs have collectively shed roughly $146M, while ETH ETFs have lost around $250M. Altcoin funds also remain under pressure: Solana ETFs posted a ninth straight day of outflows (−$9.82M), and Hyperliquid ETFs dropped −$10.28M, per data cited by Bitcoin.com.
What it means for the market
The near-zero BTC inflow — $5M against more than $105B in assets — reflects a cautious institutional mood following a streak of outflows. Ether's persistent drain at $60M+ per day points to continued selling pressure and weak short-term demand. For live price and market context, see the CoinLab daily brief.
