BingX, YouHodler Join ESMA MiCA Register; 375 CASPs Total
ESMA added BingX and YouHodler to the MiCA register, raising the total to 375 unique CASPs. Nine firms joined this week, including a Santander subsidiary.

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) added crypto exchange BingX and lending platform YouHodler to the official MiCA crypto-asset service provider (CASP) register. The update, published on October 18, 2026, brings the total number of registered CASPs to 375 unique entities.
Details
BingX registered its Austrian subsidiary "MEGE zweite" to operate as a CASP across the European Economic Area. CEO Daniel Lai said the authorization would allow the company to operate "under a clear regulatory framework" throughout the EEA, according to CoinTelegraph.
YouHodler's Italian subsidiary received authorization to provide custody, crypto exchange, order execution, and transfer services. In total, nine firms were added in this weekly update, including Spain's Prakma Markets and Germany's Openbank Deutschland — a subsidiary of Banco Santander. The non-compliant CASP (NCASP) register holds 178 entries, while the e-money token register lists 50 issuers.
The full CASP register is available on ESMA's website.
What This Means for the Market
Steady additions to the MiCA register indicate that major global exchanges are continuing to seek EU authorization. BingX's European license gives its users across the EEA access to a regulated trading environment. For YouHodler, which specializes in crypto-backed lending, the authorization opens the door to offer yield products under the MiCA framework. The 375-provider milestone highlights the growing scale of Europe's regulated crypto sector, though the 178-entry NCASP list shows that compliance gaps remain for many firms still operating outside the framework.
